East West Bank is currently seeking a Sr. Credit Analyst for our Charter School and Non-Profit group. The Sr. Credit Analyst will work with the team’s Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to perform due diligence,underwrite new credit facilities and to monitor and maintain the loan portfolio. Primary responsibilitiesinclude analyzing financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, monitoring loan covenants, and processing advances and paydowns. Responsibilities
Provide support to the team’s Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to monitor and maintain the Charter School and Non-Profit loan portfolio. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing of loan advances, collection and tracking the receipt of required financial reporting, the review and spreading of financial statements, updating and maintenance of covenant tracking reports and in some cases, performing due diligence and assisting in the underwriting of credit facilities. Facilitate initiation and booking of deposit services for the Charter School and Non-Profit portfolio. Partner with RMs and other EWB sales Professionals in the Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Private Banking and other segments to acquire, expand and retain targeted client relationships. Working with RMs, TMS Consultants, and branch staff to put in place optimal process structures For Deposit accounts related to credit facilities, work with RMs and Loan Operations to arrange the accounts to facilitate loan transactions while supporting client operations Working with client and BSA and Compliance colleagues to obtain all appropriate documentation to clear prospective customers to open accounts at EWB Provide first-point-of-contact support for Deposit related and other non-credit matters for Charter School and Non-Profit clients. Resolve client requests and/or issues independently. Learn to act as an expert advisor for the clients. Support Relationship Manager on underwriting and prepare loan commitment memorandum for approval Assist with due diligence/analysis on new client relationships and opportunity memos as appropriate Able to demonstrate moderate to superior skills in financial statement spreading and the evaluation of projections Assist in accurately risk-rating loans/credits Evaluate both cash-flow and collateral-based loans/credits Performs all duties of complex routine administrative upkeep of portfolios for Relationship Manager Understand credit policy and procedures Deal with all areas of the bank and all customer types to accomplish the needs of clients Maintain databases and results tracking as needed to support Charter School and Non-Profit clients business to both internal and external constituencies Ability to work within set timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment Other projects as assigned by management. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing or 5 years equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. 3 to 5 years of combined financial services experience Knowledge of commercial banking products is highly preferred Dedicated to the delivery of excellent client service to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $69,000.00/Yr. - USD $80,000.00/Yr.
