We’re looking for driven individuals ready to learn quickly, adapt under pressure, and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.As a Process Development Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the launch and scale-up of new spinal implant products, ensuring our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance.

Candidates should ideally be located in Leesburg, VA (preferred) or Allendale, NJ. What You’ll Do: Support new product and process introductions, ensuring activities align with VB Spine’s development procedures Help ensure product and process quality meet operational and material specifications Assist with component and equipment selection based on specifications, reliability, and regulatory requirements Analyze equipment to gather operating data and perform experimental tests Contribute to PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, and PPAP documentation for new product launches Conduct capability and MSA studies to support in-process inspection and measurement systems Train manufacturing team members on new processes and tools Support capital equipment acquisition and validation Ensure compliance with GMP and safety protocols Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline Up to 2 years of relevant engineering experience (internships/co-ops welcome) Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection methods Strong problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking skills Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams Detail-oriented with strong computer and documentation skills Experience in a regulated or FDA-compliant environment a plus Why VB Spine? Compensation: Base salary with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on acase-by-case basisand considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
