Instrumentation Asset Specialist Purpose : The Instrumentation Asset Specialist will provide ongoing support to Applied Control customers by thoroughly understanding Emerson products and services and leveraging their expertise to troubleshoot, address bad acting equipment, and scope maintenance using diagnostic tools available in Emerson’s AMS Device Manager Suite.

Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and support the Customer’s maintenance and reliability work processes through the utilization of Emerson technologies. Provide an expert-level utilization of Emerson’s AMS Device Manager Suite, including diagnostics and predictive alert capabilities. Provide direct reliability and technical support for Emerson/Applied Control products at both an engineering and maintenance level. Deliver and quantify Customer value Offer practical training and mentorship on how to use Emerson’s technologies effectively. Create, enhance, and maintain the integrity of instrument data, including but not limited to diagnostic records, maintenance logs, datasheets, and SIS instrument validation records. Inventory optimization and management Take part in the development, optimization, and execution of the scope for instrument and valve turnarounds.

Skills and Qualifications: Engineering Degree, Instrumentation Technologist Diploma or Instrumentation Journeyman designation from an accredited institution required. 3+ Years industry experience in an operating process facility is an asset Experience working with Emerson devices and AMS Device Manager/Valvelink software preferred. Experience in a Maintenance or Reliability Specialist role preferred Effective interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. This role requires flexibility and the ability to commute to the customer site on a regular schedule. Compensation: Base rate range:

$28.00-$43.00 per hour Work experience, industry knowledge, and unique skills will be taken into consideration when setting the base wage
