Our client is a well-established manufacturer specializing in innovative solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Engineer include:Designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for new and existing productsCollaborating with production, quality, and design engineering teams to resolve technical and operational issuesLeading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for production problemsIdentifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projectsDeveloping work instructions, process documentation, and training materialsParticipating in new product launches, ensuring manufacturability and smooth integration into productionSupporting equipment procurement, installation, and validation effortsEnsuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulationsJob Requirements of a Manufacturing Engineer:Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesProficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)Experience with process validation, statistical analysis, and root cause problem-solvingAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple projectsREQUIRED Experience and Education:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role (automotive or industrial manufacturing preferred)Experience with manufacturing process development and improvementKnowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement tools is a plusFor immediate consideration, our MI Tech Division can be called at 248-268-3191 ext 135 or you can text us at 586-943-2598.Conducting background checks and drug screening inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.Job Impulse, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
