Job Description: Oversee daily plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Supervise and coordinate operations personnel, including scheduling, performance management, and training to support optimal staffing and team development.
Monitor process parameters, equipment status, and plant performance through control systems and field inspections to ensure consistent operations.
Lead response efforts to plant upsets, equipment failures, and abnormal conditions, coordinating with maintenance and technical teams as needed.
Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety standards by enforcing operational procedures and participating in audits and inspections.
Support startup, shutdown, and load change procedures to maintain stability and meet dispatch or output requirements.
Maintain operational logs, records, and reports accurately to support compliance, reporting, and performance analysis.
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and risk mitigation through collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams.
Participate in root cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and operational performance.
Provide leadership coverage during off-hours, outages, and emergencies, ensuring operational continuity and incident management.
