Job Summary:
The Electronics System Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections of electronic parts, assemblies, and electromechanical systems to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards such as J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-620. The role supports the verification of both manufactured and purchased products at various inspection stages including first article, in-process, and final inspections.
Job Responsibilities: Conduct visual inspections of circuit card assemblies, wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, electronic subassemblies, chassis/cabinets, and vendor items Verify correct revisions of products and test procedures Review and verify test documentation and reports Complete all paperwork in compliance with AS9100 standards Perform other quality functions as required for timely product delivery Maintain cleanliness of work area and handle tools, equipment, and materials properly Assist in training other inspectors as needed Contribute to the development and enforcement of quality system procedures compliant with ISO, military, and customer requirements Required Skills:
Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical inspection or electronics with major systems Proficiency with inspection instruments such as microscopes, small tools, and measuring devices Ability to interpret blueprints and assembly drawings Ability to interpret test data for product acceptance Electronic component identification including through-hole and surface mount components Knowledge of electronic assembly and cable fabrication standards Understanding of coatings and workmanship requirements Ability to follow written instructions independently Strong organizational skills and familiarity with AS9100-based systems Ability to document inspection results and enter data accurately Physically capable of bending, reaching, and lifting within safety guidelines Basic computer skills Color differentiation and basic vision screening required

Experience in quality systems for ISO and military standards
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
