This role combines financial planning & analysis (FP&A) with business intelligence functions, supporting data-driven decision making across our portfolio of entertainment centers. The ideal candidate will transform complex data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence and strategic growth.Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis Develop and maintain financial models for revenue forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across multiple locationsConduct profitability analysis by location, season, and business segmentSupport monthly and quarterly financial reporting processesAnalyze key performance indicators including guest traffic, average spend per visitor, and operational efficiency metricsAssist with annual budgeting and strategic planning initiativesPerform ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decision-makingBusiness Intelligence & Data AnalysisDesign and maintain dashboards and reports using advanced Excel functions and pivot tablesAnalyze guest behavior patterns, seasonal trends, and market performanceConduct competitive analysis and market research within the family entertainment industryIdentify opportunities for revenue optimization and cost reductionSupport pricing strategy analysis and promotional campaign effectivenessCollaborate with operations teams to translate data insights into actionable business recommendationsData Management & ReportingEnsure data integrity and accuracy across multiple systems and sourcesStreamline reporting processes and automate routine analyses where possiblePresent findings to senior leadership through clear, compelling visualizationsSupport cross-functional teams with data requests and analytical supportQualifications:Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field2 years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or related analytical roleExpert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data modelingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency with database management and SQL preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience working with large datasets and big data analytics tools (Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)Previous experience in the entertainment, casino, hospitality, or retail industryKnowledge of financial planning software and ERP systemsExperience with statistical analysis and predictive modelingUnderstanding of family entertainment center operations and key performance metricsCFA, CPA, or other relevant professional certificationFive Star Park & Attractions is an equal opportunity employer.
