Job DescriptionJob Description On Grid Infrastructure Services is looking for US based Steam Turbine Superintendents, Technical Field Advisors and Field Engineers with GE, Alstom and Westinghouse experience for various Steam Turbine Outage projects across the USA.

Projects are expected to start in Sept.

Candidates must be US based and will be responsible for meeting the maintenance and repair needs of customers’ equipment.

Troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on steam turbines, gas turbines and generators; ·

Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications; ·

Lead engineer overseeing entire scope of project, including project management, site safety, oversight of labor and job financials; ·

Timely administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs, internal service records and final reports; ·

Maintenance & knowledge of proper use of tooling; ·

Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up; ·

Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated; ·

Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements; ·

Working as a member of the team to provide efficient service delivery to all customers; ·

Adhering to current regulatory requirements to include, but not limited to, OSHA 10/30 requirements. Field Engineer Requirements ·

Bachelor’s degree (Engineering), or equivalent field experience (10 years); ·

Five years’ work experience in the Power Generation industry; ·

Five years’ experience diagnosing and repairing Steam turbine and generator equipment; ·

Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers; ·

Valid driver’s license; ·

Analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues; ·

Ability to work independently; ·

Strong time management skills; ·

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances; ·

Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills; ·

Attention to detail. Superintendent Duties ·

Work with Project Leads, Field Engineers, and customers to support/lead outage execution in a Safe, Quality and timely manner. ·

Direct and monitor all work to ensure quality workmanship and safety guidelines are met. ·

Troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment, specifically, steam turbines and generators; ·

Administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs, internal service records, work lists in a timely manner; ·

Maintenance & knowledge of proper use of tooling, rigging, critical lift planning & execution; ·

Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated; ·

Working as a member of the team to provide efficient service delivery to all customers; ·

Adhering to current regulatory requirements to include, but not limited to, OSHA 10/30 requirements. Superintendent Requirements ·

Experience diagnosing and repairing Steam turbine and generator equipment (5 years Minimum); ·

Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers; ·

Valid driver’s license; ·

Analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues; ·

Ability to work independently; ·

Strong time management skills; ·

Proficient with Computers and MS Office products such as Excel, Word, etc...; ·

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances; ·

Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills; ·

Attention to detail. ·

Must be able to attain Passport, TWIC, OSHA 30, background check and drug screen. Technical Field Advisor Duties ·

Oversee entire scope of project, including project management, site safety, oversight of labor and job financials; ·
