Job Description

Medline is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Application System Administrator specializing in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing technical administration and supporting seamless operations of system processes. This role requires strong analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills to support Medline's governance and compliance objectives.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

GRC Technical Administration: Lead the design, planning, installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting GRC and Legal technologies. Manage the day-to-day operations and monitor system performance of GRC and Legal technologies. Execute system updates and enhancements, timely patching, and corresponding testing in compliance with Medline change management protocols. Responsible for investigating, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical system and integration issues in a timely manner, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation. Serve as the primary point of contact for applicable GRC and Legal system vendors. Manage escalated support requests and maintain effective communication to ensure service quality. Stay updated on software updates and product enhancements to provide accurate and informed support. Set up and maintain users, roles/permissions, and security settings in accordance with company standards, best practices, and system owner direction. Manage user licenses. Engage with internal customers to resolve issues, ensuring timely, effective, and clear communication throughout the resolution process. Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance; maintain and test the effectiveness of backup and disaster recovery solutions for GRC and Legal technologies. Define and manage against key performance indicators and service-level agreements. Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of processes, incidents, solutions, and system configurations. Create user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to assist users in onboarding and troubleshooting common issues; provide training for end-users on new features and best practices. Provide clear, concise instructions for Level 1 support to follow.

Provide technical support, guidance, and training to system users. Integration Management:

Manage data integration processes, ensuring accurate and timely submission of information between platforms. Troubleshoot and quickly resolve system integration issues.

GRC and Legal System Operations:

Support system operations, data analysis, and reporting needs by designing and executing queries, developing scripts, etc. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Certification / Licensure

Work Experience

At least 5 years of experience in system analysis, system or application administration, IT GRC, or legal and compliance technology support (i.e. Pathlock, AuditBoard, Workviva, YouAttest, SAP GRC).

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Proficiency in supporting and managing GRC and Legal systems (i.e., on-premise applications, SaaS products, integrations). Familiarity with SAP security model and its integration with GRC products. Experience with scripting and/or using automation tools to streamline processes. Strong technical acumen, including knowledge of web and cloud technologies, with the ability to provide Level 2/3 support. Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset. Experience maintaining knowledge bases and documenting processes using flow charts and other visualization tools. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively liaising with vendors and technical and functional Medline teams. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, demonstrating a high degree of initiative. Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills, including the ability to anticipate or identify issues and to design appropriate solutions. Detail and deadline oriented, and able to work with limited supervision. PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

Certification / Licensure

Certification in relevant GRC discipline (e.g., CISA, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, CISSP) or IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL).

Work Experience

Experience working in large and complex IT environments

Experience working in regulated or audited environments

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Understanding of IT General Controls (i.e., change management, access, IT operations) and application information protection controls (e.g., authentication, encryption, vulnerability management) Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and audit processes

The anticipated salary range for this position: $96,200.00 - $144,560.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
