Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities.Medical Director - Hematology (Clinical Development) Location: Remote (U.S. based) Travel: Less than 10%Overview: An established biopharmaceutical organization is seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide strategic and medical leadership within its Hematology clinical development program. The role will focus on late-stage and life cycle management efforts and support scientific evaluations for potential business development opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Development Strategy & ExecutionProvide medical and scientific leadership across late-stage development programsSupport regulatory interactions and collaborate with cross-functional teamsPrepare and deliver presentations for internal governance and strategic decision-makingCollaborate with DMPK teams to interpret PK modeling and inform clinical dosing strategiesConduct literature reviews and contribute to data generation and publication strategiesParticipate in evaluations of external late-stage assets for potential in-licensing or acquisitionMedical MonitoringLead the design and execution of clinical trials in compliance with GCP and regulatory requirementsOversee medical monitoring activities, including data review and safety evaluationsParticipate in ongoing safety monitoring and evidence-based clinical decision-makingCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with asset teams, clinical sub-teams, regulatory, medical affairs, and commercial teamsAlign development plans across clinical and commercial functionsExternal Engagement & PublicationsSupport KOL interactions and contribute to advisory board activitiesProvide clinical input for investigator-sponsored research and publication planningAdditional duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:M.D. required; board certification or specialty training in Hematology/Oncology strongly preferredMinimum 3 years of industry experience in clinical development, including regulatory exposureProven track record in Hematology/Oncology across clinical phasesStrong understanding of GCP, clinical trial execution, and medical monitoringExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated leadership in cross-functional matrix environmentsExperience with risk assessment, safety evaluations, and regulatory documentationStrong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisionsCompetencies:Strategic ThinkingClinical ExecutionLeadershipCross-Functional CollaborationThis is a remote position with limited travel expectations ( Benefits: Use this link bit.ly/4cGUQSh to learn more about benefits available to Eastridge's temporary employees.From time to time Eastridge's clients may offer additional benefits to Eastridge employees while on assignment.Information about those benefits will be communicated when applicable.Eastridge Workforce Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
