As a
Tier 2 Desktop Support Technician , you'll be the go-to resource for keeping our end-user technology running smoothly and efficiently. From setting up new systems to troubleshooting complex issues, your work will directly support the tools and technology our users rely on daily.
Day-to-day, you'll: Provide hands-on deskside support for a wide range of devices including workstations, laptops, tablets, printers, VoIP phones, and more Handle installation, upgrades, reconfigurations, and disposal of IT equipment (IMACD) Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating when needed to Tier 3 or external teams Install and configure applications using scripted install packages Track inventory and ensure accurate asset management of deployed software and devices Support networked and local printers and peripherals Assist users with IT system access and provide basic training as needed Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles for internal use Use ServiceNow to track incidents, fulfill service requests, and document resolution steps Continuously look for ways to streamline and improve support processes What You Bring to the Team
Required: Active TS/SCI clearance
with the ability to obtain a CI Poly At least
3 years of relevant IT support experience Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills Ability to lift and move hardware (monitors, PCs, printers, etc.) and walk between buildings on a large campus Solid understanding and hands-on experience with: Windows 7/10, Citrix, SCCM, and SMS Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Thin/Thick Clients, VDI, printers, AV/VTC systems, and general end-user hardware
Experience using IT ticketing systems, preferably
ServiceNow Strong documentation, time management, and communication skills Certifications:
Security+ , A+, Network+, or equivalent DoD 8570.01M certification (required) ITIL v3 Foundations

The salary range for this position is typically $122k-132k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
