We are actively seeking a
Senior Interior Designer
to join our award-winning
architecture and interior design team
in
St. Louis, MO . This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact projects in the
healthcare ,
science & technology , and
higher education
sectors. As a senior-level designer, you will play a critical role in shaping innovative, functional, and sustainable interior environments from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities: Interior Design Project Leadership Lead
interior architecture and design projects
through all phases-concept design, design development, documentation, and construction administration. Develop creative, functional, and
code-compliant interior design solutions
aligned with client goals and brand standards. Manage the production of
interior construction documents , finish schedules,
FF&E specifications , and material selections. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure cohesive and integrated project outcomes. Supervise and mentor junior interior designers, overseeing quality, performance, and professional development. Maintain compliance with
ADA standards , local building codes, and firm-wide quality protocols. Present design concepts and material palettes to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Lead project budgeting, scheduling, and contract deliverables to ensure profitable and on-time project delivery. Support
business development
through client engagement, proposal development, and presentations. Stay up to date on interior design trends, new materials, finishes, furniture systems, and
sustainable design practices . Qualifications: What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in
Interior Design
or
Interior Architecture
(CIDA-accredited program preferred). Minimum of
8 years of professional interior design experience , ideally within healthcare, higher education, or science/technology environments. Proficiency in
Revit
is required; working knowledge of
Adobe Creative Suite ,
SketchUp , and other industry-standard design tools is a plus. Strong conceptual design, space planning, and programming skills. Experience managing
mid- to large-scale interior design projects . Exceptional communication, presentation, and
client relationship management
skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation capabilities. Proven leadership abilities with a collaborative, team-oriented approach. NCIDQ certification
preferred. LEED AP
