ADP Chief Engineer
You will be the ADP Chief Engineer responsible for the technical integrity of all engineering aspects for all programs within ADP. As the ADP Chief Engineer you will work with the functional engineering Program Manager(s) and Technical Execution Lead(s). You will be responsible to ensure that all products meet all performance and airworthiness requirements; that integrated and balanced design approaches and trades are used, and that solid Design Policies, Methods and Process Integrity methods are followed. ADP Chief Engineer responsibilities include the following: Approve key airworthiness artifacts Member airworthiness Certification Working Group, approves MACC/TACC Part of customer notification process for incidents Quantify flight risk for customer Ensure flight risk management Approve key integration designs at contract level Approve key proposed technical requirements at contracts level Approve key weapons systems specifications Ensure key products meet performance & technical requirements Provide approvals at Engineering Review Boards Approve key configuration decisions Participate on crisis management action teams Participate in disciplined root cause and corrective action activities Participate in key KPP & TPM reviews Ensure executable technical plan / schedule Oversee & Ensure integrity of design process Provide data for customer inquiries through BD Provide data for PIRA requests & Approve PIRAs Support intellectual property board Support Aeronautics and Corporate technical initiatives From onsite to remote, we offer flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security. This position is in Palmdale, CA. You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering/technical discipline. Broad technical background in aircraft/technology development and systems engineering processes. Experience as a technical lead and/or project manager. Desired Skills: Chief Engineer or Deputy Chief Engineer experience. Background in Mission Systems, Vehicle Systems, or other aircraft development competencies. Strong communication skills and ability to work with other LM Aero LOB's. Knowledge of ADP processes as well as site-specific advanced systems and technology & product innovation projects. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $195,000 - $310,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
