Senior Network Engineer
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This critical role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network solutions that support the operational and strategic objectives of our client. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical acumen in various network technologies and a proven track record in managing complex network environments. Responsibilities: Develop and manage network configuration templates using Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) to enhance deployment efficiency and standardization. Design and implement network segmentation strategies to improve security and network performance. Lead initiatives for network hardware modernization to ensure alignment with the latest technological advancements. Plan and execute comprehensive refresh projects for routing and switching infrastructure to optimize network functionality. Deploy and manage Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solutions, focusing on Cisco and VeloCloud technologies. Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring robust security measures are in place to protect network data. Utilize Infoblox solutions for efficient DNS, DHCP, and IP address management, ensuring seamless network operations. Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable. Strong technical knowledge of Cisco networking products, including expertise in routing, switching, SD-WAN, and security technologies. Experience with Cisco DNA Center for network automation and template management. Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls. Hands-on experience with Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IP address management. Expertise in designing and implementing network segmentation strategies. Proven track record in modernizing network hardware and infrastructure. Experience in planning and executing route/switch refresh projects. In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, specifically Cisco and VeloCloud. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
