The Challenge
In joining Adobe's Worldwide Digital Media Finance organization, you will have the opportunity to serve as a Sr. Data Scientist embedded in our FPA& team within the largest business unit at Adobe ($17.5B Revenue). This role primarily focuses on automating repetitive forecasting tasks using data science x FP&A best practices like time series forecasting and human-in-the-loop workflows. The ideal candidate for this role can both ingest, document, and refine requirements from finance partners as well as program end to end forecasting solutions. We're looking for somebody who can partner effectively, code efficiently, and present methodologies and results to anybody from analysts up through SVPs. You will work with people and teams both local and remote as well as engage in processes with worldwide teams in a matrixed organization. Responsibilities include: Build, improve and maintain sophisticated ARR time series based forecasting models to boost accuracy and provide time savings for finance partners Work with finance partners to comprehensively understand the problems that need to be solved and design and implement forecasting solutions Present proposed methodologies and results to finance partners at various levels analyst through SVP Figuring out how best to incorporate human-in-the-loop approaches to automated forecasts to improve accuracy and explainability Serve as finance data science evangelist, seeking out additional high impact opportunities for data science within FP&A and designing and implementing solutions there Collaborate on dashboard creation to increase visibility of Knowledge & Skills
Deep experience in time series modelling particularly in building, deploying, and explaining forecasting models Excellent problem-solving skills. Candidate can cut to the heart of and articulate issues, scope and select recommended solutions, and implement them with minimal guidance Strong communication skills. Candidate can clearly, succinctly, and constructively communicate with partners to achieve our organization's many goals. Exceptional presentation skills can explain complex modelling methodologies and processes to non-technical audiences Evangelist: Excited to apply data science techniques to traditional FP&A problems and grow their responsibilities over time Familiar with common financial concepts like ARR and ARPU Intermediate/Advance Python programming skills Familiarity with data pipelining, within Databricks preferred Deep prior experience doing fully automated time series forecasting using Python About Adobe

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $128,600 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
