Java Developer Opportunity
BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Java Developer opportunity in Tempe, AZ! Position Title: Java Developer Location: Tempe, AZ Anticipated Start Date: 07/28 Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 6+ months contract + Renewable Job Type: FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY) [CONTRACT], [HYBRID] Pay Range: $30 - $36/hr Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.) Responsibilities: Collaborates with leaders, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements Maintains and enhances existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions Creates detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 3-5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments Proficient in Java, Angular, Java Script Top 3 skills: Java/JVM Git Spring Framework - PRIMARILY BackEnd Benefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
