positions with our client, a highly respected construction and industrial maintenance company with locations in
Turner, Maine and Portland, Maine . These positions involve outdoor labor and traveling to various job sites. The Laborer will support sewer maintenance, pipeline inspection, and rehabilitation work. Success in this role means being dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work in a tight-knit, team-driven environment. This is a
long-term direct hire
opportunity with room for growth, training, and advancement.
As a
Laborer
, you will be responsible for: Operate and maintain tools and equipment used for sewer and pipeline work Perform general labor in outdoor conditions, including extreme cold and heat Lift, push/pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Support trenchless construction and industrial projects Travel to job sites across the state (overnight stays required for jobs more than 2 hours away; hotels paid by employer) Attend weekly safety meetings and follow all safety procedures Communicate effectively with team members and follow all on-site instructions Participate in on-the-job and in-house training programs The ideal candidate for this role will have:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Experience in construction, landscaping, logging, or other hands-on labor roles (preferred, but not required-we will train the right candidate) Ability to work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination Good communication skills and willingness to follow instructions A valid driver's license (preferred); CDL holders will be considered for higher-paying roles Ability to pass a physical and pre-employment drug screen (CDL roles must follow Federal DOT testing standards) No recent major driving violations or violent criminal history (background check required) Benefits:
