Core Role & Responsibilities
Project Management experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing (MEP) building systems Proven track record of managing profitability, quality, and client satisfaction on projects Experience with contract management, billing, and business development Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure project milestones are met Familiarity with RFPs, SOQs, fee proposals, and construction documentation review Technical Background
5 years of Project Management experience with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering (preferred) OR 10+ years of qualified experience without a degree Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection systems Understanding of building codes, zoning, and permitting Strong in engineering oversight, ensuring technical accuracy and team guidance Leadership & Client-Facing Experience
Experience working directly with Partners/Principals in a consulting or engineering firm Involvement in client relationship management and business development Ability to lead project proposal efforts and fee negotiations Location & Travel
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX Regional travel may be required depending on project location and firm structure Soft Skills & Traits
Strong communication and documentation skills High attention to organization and detail Able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a client-service mindset
