Lead Supply Chain Specialist

The Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Lead Supply Chain Specialist (Level 4) to join the Commercial Mods - Supply Chain Execution team located in Long Beach, CA. We are looking for a detail-oriented problem-solver who can work in a fast-paced environment. Be a part of meaningful change, as we examine and evolve our supply chain processes and lead strategic supply chain integration projects with our Mods program and engineering leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, understanding of data analytics and executive level briefing experience. Position Responsibilities
Develops executive level briefings Partners with organization leaders to support the development and implementation of long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives Defines, designs, plans, deploys and manages internal/external projects Leads the development and maintenance of the project schedule and monitors and tracks execution of the plan and communicates status Reviews and evaluates strategic organizational issues and identifies implementation recommendations Analyzes and summarizes data used in the development and proposal of organizational direction Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan Develops risk mitigation plan Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows Distributes, updates and tracks procurement plan for supply chain integration and procurement analysis Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders Possesses general understanding, ability, and knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations; Possesses general knowledge of company and local policies, procedures and regulations Leads the design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes 10+ years of experience in a role that required project management skills 10+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams 10+ years of experience working with Excel and PowerPoint Ability to travel 10% Preferred Qualifications
