Job description: Client is seeking a
seasoned Data Analyst
who can quickly learn business requirements and assess data systems and programs to improve reporting and overall data capabilities Responsibilities
Assess complex data systems and programs to support ad-hoc and recurring management or customer requests. Create reports, programs, methodologies, and files for the analysis and presentation of current and legacy data. Review current and legacy data to evaluate data quality and identify opportunities for improvement. Research new data sources and analytical tools, including third-party platforms such as AWS. Contribute to new application and report development. Implement improvements in product delivery and presentation through the use of database applications and analytical tools. Engage internal customers in data collection efforts and gather feedback on planned modifications and improvements. Preferred Qualifications
Strong mathematical skills for data collection, measurement, organization, and analysis. Knowledge of programming languages such as
SQL ,
Python , and
JavaScript . Technical proficiency in database design, development, data modeling, data mining techniques, and segmentation. Experience with reporting packages (e.g.,
Business Objects ) and/or programming (JavaScript, XML, or ETL frameworks) databases. Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages such as
Excel ,
SPSS , and
SAS
for data set analysis. Required Skills
Proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, data mining, and database design & optimization. SQL. Python (Highly desired). SAP BusinessObjects (Highly desired). JavaScript, XML, and/or other ETL frameworks (Highly desired). Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS (Desired).
