Are you the In Home Caregiver we're looking for? To thrive as a Full Time or Part Time in Home Caregiver at Nursing Angels Inc., you'll need a unique blend of skills and the right mindset! First and foremost, compassion and empathy are essential; your ability to connect with clients makes a world of difference. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a year of previous caregiving experience to help guide your practice. Being organized and having excellent time management skills will keep you on top of daily tasks. You'll assist with basic day-to-day activities (ADLs), monitor health changes, and provide medication reminders. Communication is key, so engaging family members and clients in conversations is a must! Familiarity with mobility assistance and safety guidelines will ensure a secure environment. Caregiver Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in basic day-to-day activities and personal care, such as ADL's Ability to follow the care plan and instructions Medication reminders Provide assistance regarding mobility, which can include helping clients in and out of bed, chair, or wheelchair Monitor changes in health and behavior Prepare meals and assist while eating if needed Ensure clients' home is safe and organized according to their needs Encourage clients to socialize and engage in daily activities as much as they can Maintain a safe, pleasant, and comfortable living environment Communicate and regularly update family members Serve as a supportive and encouraging companion Caregiver Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED certificate 1-year Previous working experience as a In Home CareCaregiver Knowledge of first aid and CPR Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Excellent communication skills Compassion and empathy Problem-solving Organization and time management Friendly and encouraging personality
