Instrumentation and Controls Project Engineer
in our
Boston
office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all. Here is what we have in store for you: In this role, you will work on projects ranging from designing central utility plants (steam, hot water, chilled water) for large campuses and healthcare facilities (District Energy / CHP), industrial/manufacturing facilities, large-scale data centers, energy storage facilities, and plant betterment projects for utility plants. Expertise of our most successful Instrumentation and Controls Project Engineers: BSME or BSEE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience). 5+ years of experience in the consulting engineering industry. Experience with communicating with clients, partners and individuals at all levels within an organization. Effective skills to help you flourish: Experience in consulting engineering in utility plant design. Professional Engineering License (PE) in one or more states. Detailed, hands-on knowledge of PLC or DCS control systems. Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols. Ability to travel for client meetings, field survey, commissioning, and startup support. Strong spoken and written communication skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work effectively individually and within team environments.
