Position Title: Community OUtreach Coordinator
Location: Dover
Full Time
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30pm with weekends and evenings when needed.
Position Summary: The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing community outreach programs and events in collaboration with various partners. Duties include maintaining outreach calendars, building community relationships, managing participant data, providing service referrals, delivering presentations, and preparing regular reports on outreach goals and activities.
Duties
Attending outreach and resource events with the general public for the purpose of distributing marketing information on programs and supportive services Developing and implementing community outreach programs, special events, and activities Create and implement ongoing outreach events and connections in community engagement association with community partners, business, non-profit, government, religious, international and educational entities Develop and monitor computer database systems for participant follow-up, networking, program related materials, and other required information Speak to community members and educate them about available services Connect with people in need to understand their issues/barriers and consider was supportive services are available and make necessary referrals Maintaining a calendar of outreach activities including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities. Nurturing new and old relationships with collaborative partners. Preparing accurate records and reports on the goals of the outreach initiative plan weekly/monthly Assisting in the organization of special events, including community events, workforce events, training events, resource fairs, job recruitments, etc.
Requirements
Outstanding written communication and presentation skills. Strong experience preparing reports. Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude. Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms. Detail-orientated with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time. Able to set/implement goals and achieve them in a timely manner
