Serves as lead simulator operator running pre-programmed scenarios with faculty facilitators ensuring all equipment is set up for course programs, which includes restocking/replenishing supplies and cleaning of equipment. Coordinate access, availability and scheduling of simulation spaces and resources. Ensure preparation and storage areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner and comply with health and safety regulations. Assist with standardized Patient Program, participates in recruitment, orientation, feedback sessions, and yearly updates of SPs. Ensures that all simulation delivery is conducted in compliance with industry accreditation standards and standards of best practices. Oversees all simulation utilization, troubleshooting, user support, maintenance, and repair of simulation equipment. Leads training of new simulation technicians. Undertake stock control, ensuring adequate levels of consumables and equipment are maintained. Develops and implements special projects and initiatives to improve and expand the simulation operations and technologies. Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED 4 years progressive experience as a simulation tech Proficiency in MS software application including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as internet and database applications. Knowledge of audio/video equipment and software for recording, duplication, mixing, and editing. Ability to learn new hardware and software quickly and independently. Self-motivated and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Comply with internal and external policies, standards, and regulations. CHSE-Cert Healthcare Simulation Educator SSH - State of Pennsylvania within 120 Days American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire Preferred Qualifications

Associate's Degree in healthcare or technology Knowledge of patient simulation, technologies, and application. Ability to assess, troubleshoot, and fix equipment failures in a timely fashion. Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to simulator functions. Physical Demands

Lift over 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 140 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. short distances. Frequent standing/walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching overhead.
