Senior Research Associate
Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Research Associate with the following duties: Provide a broad class of cell-based functional assay support to assess the functionality of Takeda's lead antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and related modalities against their intended targets, in disease areas spanning oncology, gastrointestinal, central nervous system, and rare diseases; develop biological functional assays to characterize antibodies for drug candidates; support lab automation; analyze data, interpret results, and present findings to project teams; maintain accurate records. Less than 10% remote work allowed. Requirements: Master's degree in Pharmaceuticals Sciences or related field plus 2 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: Develop bioassays using the MSD platform, with a proven track record of delivering optimized assay for phase 1 candidate Qc batch analysis; Work with primary cells/ tumor model for different cancer/disease markers; Hands-on experience with luciferase-based assay for reporter signals; Understanding of how to develop an assay, conduct optimization to validate the assay for screening and utilize this knowledge for developing any new assay for the incoming projects so that the assay is fit for use for Target of interest. Full time. $93,000 to $155,800 per year. Competitive compensation and benefits.
