Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator, Event Technology, supports the LEO Events Meeting Services department by helping deliver unique and interactive digital experiences at corporate meetings and events. This role is responsible for managing incoming data, implementing it across various platforms, and supporting both virtual and in-person event activations.

Ideal candidates possess strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based in Chattanooga, TN, and requires office-based work.

Job Responsibilities:

•Implement structured data (e.g., attendee information, event content) into digital platforms that support registration systems, mobile apps, and onsite activations.

•Create and maintain content trackers to ensure accuracy and organization across multiple programs.

•Prepare and manage post-event analytics and reporting deliverables.

•Collect, clean, and manage data sets to ensure accuracy and integrity.

•Perform advanced Excel operations to analyze and manipulate incoming data for internal and client-facing use.

•Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on all digital deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and functionality.

•Translate internal and client needs into developer-ready tasks or documentation.

•Integrate with the Meeting Services team to support attendee management before, during, and after events.

•Support all on-site event technology needs for assigned programs.

•Participate in client and internal meetings for assigned programs.

•Responsible for tracking, prepping, and managing event technology equipment and inventory in Quickbase.

•Assist with pulling/testing the correct equipment.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

•2+ years of experience in data entry, database management, or information systems

•1+ years of event coordination or logistics experience (preferred but not required)

Competencies:

•Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, conditional formatting, data validation, etc.)

•Highly organized with strong attention to detail and best practices in data handling

•Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive client or attendee data

•Self-motivated and deadline-driven, with a sense of urgency and accountability

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude

•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Dropbox, and Adobe Acrobat

•Ability to keep projects moving to meet schedules and deadlines

•Willingness to learn basic HTML/CSS and mobile app content styling

•Interest in learning Cvent and other event registration or attendee management platforms

•Willing and able to travel up to 10% and occasionally work nights or weekends.

Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands:

Employee is required to spend a large portion of time in a seated position looking at a computer screen. Employee is required to do some standing and walking. Employee works in a well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation. Able to lift 25 pounds.
