Registered Nurse, Intermediate Care Unit
Full Time, 72 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift Leconte Medical Center Overview: LeConte Medical Center is a part of Covenant Health, our region's top-performing healthcare network and is a 79-bed community hospital located in the heart of Sevier County. Responsibilities
Correlates patient history and support systems within hospital care. Assess learning needs of patient and family. Develops and initiates teaching plan, involving patient and family. Recommends interventions. Evaluates plan of care. Resolves problems regarding less complex issues without oversight or supervision. Member of established active hospital committee or subcommittee with 75% participation in meetings. Demonstrates willingness to precept new employees/students as directed. Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications
Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority. Minimum Experience: Must possess at least one (1) year of professional experience. Licensure Requirement: Valid Tennessee license. CPR required.
