Caf Supervisor
Location: Ullr Caf at Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Position Type: Full-Time Non-Exempt Compensation: $18.00-$20.70/hr. + gratuities Schedule: Full flexibility (mornings, evenings, weekends) At Ullr Caf, where we honor the Norse god of snow with every cup we serve, you'll bring our Sharing Smiles philosophy to life as our Caf Supervisor. Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in daily caf operations and staff supervision. Train, coach, and develop caf staff to ensure excellent service and performance. Delegate tasks, monitor productivity, and maintain quality control. Ensure all staff follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Oversee opening/closing procedures, food prep, and beverage service (coffee, sandwiches, baked goods). Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and keep the caf clean and organized. Conduct staff evaluations, provide feedback, and support career growth. Schedule staff shifts and manage attendance, tardiness, and time-off requests. Uphold company policies, hospitality standards, and brand culture. Operate POS systems, handle cash, and follow proper cash-handling procedures. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment. Stay informed about resort updates, promotions, and local events. Perform barista and food prep duties as needed. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum 1 years of experience in food & beverage, caf, or restaurant operations. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, guest-focused attitude. Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team. Basic math skills (handling cash, calculating discounts, etc.). Comfort using computers (Microsoft Office, email, POS systems). Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for long periods and lift to 50 lbs. Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain upon hiring). Preferred Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience in a caf, coffee shop, or restaurant. Barista experience (espresso preparation, latte art, etc.). Knowledge of food safety & sanitation regulations (ServSafe certified a plus). Familiarity with scheduling software. Experience in a resort or high-volume hospitality setting. Passion for coffee, food, and mountain culture. Bilingual skills (Spanish a plus). Compensation & Benefits:
