The Opportunity We're seeking a seasoned marketing leader to shape and drive the content strategy that supports the growth of Emerging Brands and SMB advertisers. In this highly visible role, you will play a critical part in Walmart Connect's efforts to attract, educate, and grow small and mid-sized suppliers and Marketplace sellers through retail media. Sitting at the intersection of business strategy, storytelling, and go-to-market execution, you will build a scalable content foundation that strengthens brand trust, accelerates advertiser acquisition, and drives adoption of Walmart Connect solutions across the seller journey. You'll Make an Impact By: Defining and leading the content marketing strategy for Emerging Brands, aligning to advertiser acquisition goals, revenue growth, and Walmart Connect's broader business priorities. Architecting a full-funnel content ecosystem that supports awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention across owned and paid channels (website, social, video, events, email, and media campaigns). Collaborating cross-functionally with paid media, SEO, brand, partner marketing, product marketing, creative, and seller engagement teams to ensure consistent messaging and seamless content activation. Elevating thought leadership and brand positioning through content that establishes Walmart Connect as a growth platform for SMBs and challenger brands. Operationalizing content development through structured workflows, editorial planning, performance measurement, and a high creative bar. Using insights, platform data, and seller feedback to inform messaging strategy, content prioritization, and ongoing optimization. Integrating market research and voice-of-customer insights into content planning to ensure relevance, clarity, and impact. You'll Thrive in This Role If You: Are a strategic thinker and content architect who can translate complex business goals into compelling, scalable content programs. Have a deep understanding of SMB and DTC brand needs, and a proven ability to deliver content that educates, inspires, and drives action. Excel at cross-functional leadership and stakeholder collaboration in a matrixed, fast-paced environment. Are a performance-driven marketer who uses data to drive decision-making and evolve content based on results. Bring experience in B2B, eCommerce, digital advertising, or retail media, with a passion for supporting entrepreneurial growth. Preferred Qualifications 5-8 years of experience in content marketing, brand strategy, or go-to-market planning, preferably in B2B, digital media, or marketplace ecosystems. Demonstrated success in developing and executing content strategies that drive acquisition, engagement, or product adoption at scale. Strong editorial and storytelling skills with experience across formatsthought leadership, paid ads, case studies, guides, white papers, video, and more. Experience leading content production across internal creative teams and agency partners. Proficiency with CMS platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics dashboards. Solid understanding of digital and retail media advertising solutions. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Structured, analytical, and highly strategic mindset. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 3 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 7 years' experience in marketing or related field.
