This position is part of the R&D department located in Waltham, MA and will be on-site. You will be a part of the cell-free DNA team and report to a Senior Scientist responsible for cell-free DNA process improvements. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:
Perform experiments to improve quality or processes related to production of cell-free DNA Establish new site operations including preparation of laboratory, installation of equipment, development of SOPs, etc. Contribute to the design of experiment and compile data from a limited range of disciplines or technologies to be included in technical reports following all appropriate good documentation practices. Solve problems in straightforward situations; analyze possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:
PhD in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with with 0+ years of experience, MS with 1+ years of experience, or BS with 3+ years of experience 0+ years of experience (additional experience with educational achievement outlined above) in an industry R&D setting Experience and working knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, electrophoresis techniques, ELISA, etc. Experience related to production, amplification, or modification of nucleic acids; purification of nucleic acids; and analytics related to nucleic acids Must be able to develop solutions for simple and complex problems, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation. Travel:
Limited travel may be required. It Would Be A Plus If You Also Possess Previous Experience In:
