CAD Drafter

Seeking a highly skilled CAD Programmer with expertise in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault. This role is ideal for a technically savvy professional who thrives in cross-functional environments and enjoys solving integration challenges between design and enterprise systems. Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain CAD models and drawings using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault. Integrate AutoCAD tools with the company's ERP system using a CAD bridge or similar solution. Automate data flow between engineering design and manufacturing operations. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely transfer of design data to production and inventory systems. Troubleshoot and optimize CAD-ERP workflows for efficiency and scalability. Serve as a technical liaison between Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and Administrative departments. Document processes and provide training/support to end users as needed. Essential Skills

Proven experience as a programmer or technical specialist working with AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault. Hands-on experience integrating CAD systems with ERP platforms (CAD bridge experience preferred). Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and data structures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across multiple departments. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Dock manufacturing knowledge. Work Environment

The work environment consists of 45 to 50 employees onsite, operating on a 1st shift schedule from Monday through Friday (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST). The setting is a steel and metal fabrication environment, utilizing equipment such as CNCs, Piranha Metal Fabrication Equipment, drills, and presses. The CAD Team collaborates with sales and manufacturing to deliver quality products to customers. The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
