Job Summary Oneok is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Legal Assistant - Intermediate to provide comprehensive administrative support to our attorneys. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the legal department and involves a wide range of responsibilities. Job Profile Summary Provides day-to-day administrative support to attorneys in the legal department. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support such as scheduling and coordinating meetings, assistance with managing attorney calendars, making travel arrangements, taking notes, making copies, assisting with attorney expense tracking and reimbursement, and processing invoices for payment Coordinate and execute events Support factual investigation and related writing for purpose of providing support to attorneys Assist with organization and maintenance of legal department documents and files Perform document management as directed by attorneys Prepare correspondence and reports and perform other clerical duties as required Perform basic editing, proofing, and formatting of legal documents Obtain signatures on legal documents and notarize legal documents Education Associate's Degree as a professional legal assistant/paralegal or an equivalent combination of formal education and legal experience, and the following job related knowledge or experience Experience At least 5 years' experience providing administrative and/or secretarial support to a law firm or legal department Experience and training related to handling confidential and/or sensitive information Experience organizing and maintaining case and/or document files Experience composing and preparing correspondence and reports Experience in use and function of office equipment applicable to position including computers, typewriters, photocopiers, and facsimile machines Experience assisting and communicating effectively Experience with computer database, spreadsheet, legal billing, legal research and word processing applications including but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Westlaw Tracker Contract Management software Worldox, iManage, or other legal document repository Experience and/or training related to: Legal terminology Computerized legal research applications Generally accepted standards for grammar and punctuation Business organizations Licenses And Certifications Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) and Notary Public certification preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Ability to: apply basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, decimals and percentages Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information and instructions Licenses And Certifications Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) preferred
