Production Scheduler/Planner
We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Scheduler/Planner. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning the production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs. What You Will Do
Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity. Coordinate with various departments including production, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth execution of the production plan. Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or delays, taking proactive measures to resolve issues and meet deadlines. Analyze production data and trends to optimize scheduling efficiency and improve overall production performance. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Communicate production schedules and changes effectively to relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production-related challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain clear and regular communication with all relevant stakeholders, providing updates on production schedules, potential issues, and resolution plans. What You Bring
Associate's degree in engineering, business, supply chain management, related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 4+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or related roles within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other planning software/tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is preferred. About ZT Systems
