Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Captain to join our Aviation team. This position reports directly to the Chief Pilot and is integral to ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional transport of Crest employees and clients. The successful candidate will serve as a Pilot in Command (PIC), uphold the highest aviation standards, and act as a culture and safety ambassador for Crest Industries. Key Responsibilities As a Captain at Crest Industries, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of company aircraft while embodying the values and culture of the organization. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Flight Operations Conduct comprehensive flight planning and preparation, including weather analysis, routing, and performance considerations File and manage flight plans in accordance with FAA and company protocols Ensure full compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), internal SOPs, and safety procedures Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections and documentation Operate aircraft systems including Satcom Direct, navigation, and communication equipment Maintain flight proficiency, knowledge of normal and emergency procedures, and CRM standards Passenger and Crew Management Represent Crest Industries with professionalism and discretion to all passengers and crew Brief passengers on flight details and safety protocols Provide strong leadership to fellow crew members and foster a respectful, team-based environment Aircraft Oversight & Coordination Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft readiness Maintain and submit accurate flight logs and reports Monitor aircraft systems, fuel performance, and ensure all documentation is current Communications & Collaboration Liaise with air traffic control (ATC), dispatch, and ground support throughout operations Participate in safety reviews, operational debriefings, and department meetings Provide on-call flexibility and availability for short-notice travel when required Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Identify and proactively address potential safety risks Stay current with aviation best practices, training, and regulatory changes Support and model Crest's high standards of compliance, continuous improvement, and leadership Minimum Qualifications Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate Multi-Engine Rating Minimum 3,000 total flight hours Minimum 1,000 hours in turbine jet aircraft Valid Second-Class FAA Medical Certificate Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and safety procedures Experience with Satcom Direct systems Clean FAA and MVR records
no accidents or violations Must live within 1.5 hours of Pineville, Louisiana or be willing to relocate Willingness to travel overnight weekly and be available for some on-call operations Ideal Candidate Profile In addition to meeting the minimum requirements, the ideal candidate will also have: 5,000+ total flight hours Type rating in the Falcon 2000EX EASy series At least 500 hours of time in Falcon 2000 aircraft Familiarity with Dassault Falcon systems and avionics Proven leadership abilities and experience managing flight operations or crews A deep personal commitment to safety, reliability, and service excellence
