Registered Nurse - Cardiac Neuro Telemetry (Med-Tele)
Join a high-performing medical-surgical telemetry unit delivering exceptional care to patients with cardiac and neurological conditions. This 27-bed unit manages telemetry patients, post-CABG, myocardial infarction, chest pain, and similar high-acuity diagnoses. The facility is known for strong teamwork, supportive leadership, and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based nursing care for patients with cardiovascular and neurological conditions Interpret telemetry strips and recognize arrhythmias and emergent conditions Monitor patient condition and document assessments and interventions accurately Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and families on treatment, medications, and discharge plans Minimum Qualifications:
Current Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must convert to FL license within 90 days) Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience Experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring required BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) required NIHSS certification required within 30 days of hire ASN or Nursing Diploma required (BSN preferred) Preferred Experience:
Previous experience with telemetry, stepdown, or med/surg telemetry units Strong interpersonal and communication skills Long-term commitment preferred (not a travel contract role) Benefits:
