Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Lead operational functions related to Medicare Part D/EGWP and Medicaid business; triaging account team inquiries; performing operational tasks involving government programs business. Maintain knowledge of Medicare/EGWP/audit regulations and processes and assist in facilitating the implementation of necessary action. Collaborate with the extended client services team, as well as other internal stakeholders, to achieve client satisfaction. Work with internal departments to acknowledge and respond timely to incoming requests; assists the team with triage of issues; manages and tracks requests and projects. Participate in work groups as requested to support department or inter-departmental initiatives. Perform user-acceptance testing on system enhancements including creation of test plans, documentation, and communication of test results. Assist in product implementation as needed. Support operational task related to government programs processes and products. Perform compliance and program communications to plans. Identify, analyze, and resolve project-related problems and obstacles, using critical thinking and collaboration to implement effective solutions. Coordinate with internal teams, fostering communication and accountability to ensure process/project alignment. Draft clear, professional internal and external communications to address inquiries, escalate issues, and provide timely updates. Ensure effective resolution by coordinating with relevant teams, tracking progress, and following up until closure. Perform various operational oversight activities. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities Client responsibilities: This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). One must be able to; manage difficult or emotional client situations; respond promptly to client needs; solicit client feedback to improve service; respond to requests for service and assistance from clients; meet commitments to clients. Education and/or Experience: BS/BA and 5+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 2 years' of SME in respective areas. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Intermediate knowledge of at least one content management system (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, wiki) Demonstrated ability to learn new software tools. Other Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. A well organized and self-directed individual who can work with a minimal amount of supervision. Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Work Location: This position works on-site at the San Diego Headquarters or other company location (or from a remote location with management approval based on business requirements). Must provide adequate support to internal clients; be available for regular interactions and coordination of work with other employees, colleagues, clients, or vendors; as well as be available to facilitate effective decisions through collaboration with stakeholders. Working Hours: This is an exempt level position requiring the incumbent to work the hours required to fully accomplish job responsibilities and reasonable meet deadlines for work deliverables. The individual must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required. Work hours may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business. Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
