Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking an Indigenous Community Liaison to join their team. As a member of the Energy and Climate Equity initiative, you will support community engagement and program development for indigenous communities in New York State. Job Title: Indigenous Community Liaison: Clean Energy Projects Location: Hybrid - New York State Resident (50% travel within NYS) Pay Range: $55-$65/HR (Depending on experience) What's the Job? Facilitate community engagements with historically marginalized communities and Indigenous Peoples. Collaborate with policy and program teams to ensure clean energy programs benefit disadvantaged communities. Develop strategies and communicate recommendations for executive review. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating respect and inclusive behavior. Translate technical information for diverse audiences including industry stakeholders and the general public. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of experience in Indigenous community engagement and clean energy policy or comparable work experience. Knowledge of and experience conducting community engagements with historically marginalized communities. Experience in clean energy, energy efficiency, urban planning, or climate action planning. Strong project management and time management skills. Ability to identify and solve problems using available resources. What's in it for me?
