Material Handler

Position Overview The primary focus of the Material Handler is to support manufacturing operations by ensuring orderly, accurate and timely kitting of parts, conducting electronic inventory transactions, cycle counting and delivering production work order kits to designated work cells. In addition, the material handler supports shipping and receiving operations as needed. This onsite position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 7a-3p Basic Background Requirements Experience in manufacturing warehouse environment Ability to do basic math & accurately count (Inventory Cycle Counting) Ability to accurately use material scanners Understanding of electronic material transactions Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot inventory count discrepancies Motivated with strong desire to work in warehouse operations environment Experience in cGMP environment a plus (Documentation of work, importance of Inventory traceability) Key Performance Objectives Short Term: (0 to 3 months) Learn about Kimball Vision and Guiding Principles Learn the core quality system procedures and production requirements. Learn & execute cycle count process Learn to kit production work orders & execute material transfers using a scanner Midterm: (3 to 6 months) Troubleshoot material discrepancies & resolve the issue Work independently with little to no supervision (3rd shift primary support) Own and execute cycle count process Accurate material transfers with no errors Long Term: 6-12 months + Meet and exceed work order kitting time Improve cycle count accuracy to 99.5% Work with team to implement process improvement Don't meet every single requirement?
