Mechanical Designer
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. This role involves designing heating, ventilation, and cooling systems, as well as plumbing systems, for a range of projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective design of various mechanical systems, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with construction documents. Responsibilities
Design heating-ventilation-cooling systems and plumbing systems. Perform load calculations, life cycle costing, and energy modeling. Design refrigeration systems for industrial and commercial buildings. Coordinate with other disciplines and work collaboratively in a team environment. Review installation of designed equipment/systems for compliance with construction documents. Manage multiple projects within established schedules. Work on a variety of project types, scales, and complexities. Prepare construction cost estimates, both broad and detailed. Assist in developing contract specifications and researching new procedures/products. Perform all work safely and responsibly, following the Health and Safety Plan. Act as a positive representative of the company and its core values. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills
Associates or Bachelors in Drafting and Design or something similar. Proficient in Revit. Strong teamwork, communication, and client relationship skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Strong work ethic and solid organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work effectively on a wide variety of project types and scales. Experience in preparing construction cost estimates. Research skills for new procedures and products. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
