QA Lab Tech - 3rd Shift

We are currently seeking a QA Lab Tech for our Elk Grove Village, Illinois facility. This position will be on 3rd shift which is 10:00PM-6:30AM, Monday through Friday, and pays $21.00 per hour. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Cross check lot colors by molding chips on an injection molding machine to standard color chips Run small injection molding machine Adjust color of lot batches, when necessary Communicate corrections to production team Maintain clean and organized workspace Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Good math skills (cross multiplication; pounds / grams conversions) Normal to superior color vision Effectively communicate verbal and written Work Environment / Expected Hours: The job operates in a Production lab, environment. This role will use small injection molding machines, spectrophotometer and other lab testing equipment. Days and hours of work are Monday thru Friday, 6:00 a.m..

2:30 p.m. (CST). Given the nature of the plastics industry after work hours of evenings and/or weekend hours may be required. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: This position works in a Production lab environment. May need to go out into the warehouse. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, listen, lift up to 50 pounds.
