ROLE: Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG (if applicable) services to nursing homes and other miscellaneous healthcare facilities. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Submit and transmit X-Ray images to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician. Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-Ray images. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if required). Scan exam-related paperwork and documents daily per protocol. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. Maintain the vehicle and X-Ray equipment. With the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys, this weight decreases. When pushing or pulling the equipment inside a facility or home, this weight can increase.
