Edith Macy Conference Center Dishwasher Position
Edith Macy Conference Center is a conference center located in Briarcliff Manor, New York, 45 minutes from Manhattan. Edith Macy Conference Center has more than 14,000 square feet of indoor conference space, 58 sleeping rooms, and is situated among 405 wooded acres in the heart of Westchester County. At Edith Macy Conference Center, the legacy of success is anchored in our philosophy of balancing living, learning and leisure. It is the formula that creates the signature of unparalleled excellence in quality and service throughout the network of Benchmark resorts, hotels and conference centers. Edith Macy Conference Center is looking for a high energy individual for our Dishwasher position. This is a full-time position with a shift of 2pm-10pm, and will include weekends. Candidates must be able to work a variety of days, based on business needs and it will include weekends. Position is paying $19.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand. Wash worktables, walls and vent hoods. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. Sweep and mop the kitchen floor. Qualifications
Must have clean, valid driver's license. Previous experience working in a culinary/hotel/kitchen/catering environment is preferred. Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 35 pounds).
