GEP Procurement Transformation Initiative
We're looking for a strong Manager/Sr. Manager-level consultant to lead a procurement transformation initiative. This is an execution-heavy role focused on process and policy redesign, change management, and standing up a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program. While strategic sourcing support is in scope, this will be limited to materials, equipment, and negotiating new framework agreements for materials and construction services. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with relevant terminal or E&U experience (understands the realities of terminals or energy/utilities environment) strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive alignment across finance, legal, engineering, and procurement. They need to be comfortable leading workstreams independently, structuring deliverables, and owning client communications. Key Responsibilities
1. Process & Policy Improvement Develop the program plan, timeline, and lead all key meetings. Interview cross-functional client stakeholders to identify friction points in the S2C process. Map current-state workflows (people, process, tech) and design actionable near- and long-term improvements. Collaborate with legal and risk teams on standardizing contract and insurance-related policies. 2. Change Management Create clear, practical communications and materials for policy/process rollouts. Lead in-person workshops at Houston and New Orleans sites. Set up and run quarterly adoption check-ins with key site stakeholders. 3. SRM Program Design Lead the development of the SRM program plan and lead the kick-off and all key meetings. Assess current vendor engagement practices and stakeholder capacity. Identify key vendors and internal owners to pilot an SRM framework. Define KPIs and build the 2026 rollout plan. 4. Strategic Sourcing Support (Limited) Support execution of CAPEX/OPEX sourcing initiatives. Coordinate with internal dashboard/PM team to track progress and weekly updates. Drive alignment across sourcing priorities to achieve target savings. What you should bring
Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (business/ finance/ economics/ engineering/ mathematics) or equivalent Post-Graduate degree preferred or relevant industry certifications are desired (MCIPS/CPM/CPSM/CSCP/CPIM). 3-5+ years in procurement or operations; ideally with terminals, E&U, or industrial capital project exposure. Proven experience managing client-facing initiatives and driving cross-functional alignment. Strong process improvement and change management capabilities. Comfortable working in the field, engaging stakeholders across multiple levels in person. Data-literate and visually communicative (dashboard managed by others but must know how to interpret and present insight). Must be able to travel frequently (90%) through year-end, between Houston and New Orleans.
