Work You'll Do: Data Engineers will be required to interpret business needs and select appropriate technologies and have experience in implementing data governance of shared and/or master sets of data. Candidates will work with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal data solutions. Candidates will create, maintain, and optimize data pipelines as workloads move from development to production for specific use cases to ensure seamless data flow for the use case. They will perform technical and non-technical analyses on project issues and help to ensure technical implementations follow quality assurance metrics. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree required, 5+ years of experience implementing data systems, 3+ years of experience with AWS platforms and tools, 1+ year of experience with Jira/ Confluence, 2+ years of experience managing large-scale processing systems, Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future, Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance required, Ability to work 100% onsite in Chantilly, VA, Ability to travel 5-25% based on the industries and clients you serve. Preferred: Master's degree, Python Analytics, Palantir, Strong understanding of data science concepts and ML frameworks and libraries, Familiarity with Spark, Geospatial data science experience, Large scale data pipelines.
