Entry level responsibilities include but not limited to labor duties, operation of overhead cranes, abrasive saw, conditioning grinder, billet inspect w/ calipers or PI tapes & operation of fork trucks. This entry level position feeds into lines of promotion of increasing responsibility involved in the production of Ni-base alloys supplying the Aerospace industries.
$29.22/hr. Training rate Job Description EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time hourly position, eligible for overtime pay. Days of work are Monday through Saturday with 8-hour shifts. Employees may be mandated an additional 4-hours per shift, with a 12-hour maximum for mandated overtime in a week. Employees may volunteer for additional overtime at their leisure.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Coordinate the day's forging schedule with Press Crew, GFM Crew, Pyrometer and Supervisor.
Forge Tables should be present for all material to be forged.
Receive Forge Tables and Manufacturing Order Cards from the Supervisor.
Arrange the schedule for maximum press utilization
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *
Must be able to lift 25 pounds *
Must be able to push/pull 20 lbs. *
Must be able to bend and squat at least 10 times per hour *
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders *
Must be able to wear respiratory protection *
Must be able to operate forklifts
