Cost Accounting Manager
Are you ready to drive impactful financial strategies and optimize operational costs in a dynamic manufacturing environment? As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role at the intersection of finance and operations, guiding the company's profitability and cost management. You will be a strategic partner to leadershipleveraging your expertise in analytical problem solving, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to provide actionable insights that shape important business decisions. Responsibilities: Responsible for managing month-end closing of raw materials, including: FIFO calculation and booking Material variance analysis Coordination with procurement team Prepare raw material forecasts and key reports Own monthly and quarterly entries and account reconciliations Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business units and teams other corporate functions on various projects Present summaries and executive-style reporting to senior leadership Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary Supervise and support one direct report Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Accounting, CPA a plus 5 + years of experience in accounting or finance Background in materials costing experience preferred Must have strong analytical skills Strong written and oral communication skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required SAP experience preferred Ability to effectively interact cross functionally and senior leadership, as necessary Novolex is required by laws in many locations to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The compensation range considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
