Senior HVAC Technician (iMPACT Fly Team) Join our elite iMPACT Fly Team and take your HVAC and Building Automation expertise on the road! As a senior team member, you'll travel to JCI customer sites across the country, tackling advanced system programming, checkout, and commissioning tasks that keep buildings running smarter and more efficiently. Your Mission: Validate and fine-tune hardware and software for cutting-edge building automation systems
Apply your deep HVAC knowledge to solve complex system challenges
Collaborate with project teams, supporting Project Managers and Field Technicians to deliver top-tier results
Be the go-to expert for commissioning excellence and system optimization
This role is perfect for seasoned HVAC pros who thrive on variety, love solving problems, and want to make a real impact in the field. Job Responsibilities: Load and configure system-level controller software
Commission and diagnose systems from controllers to end devices (sensors, actuators, etc.)
Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment
Maintain accurate documentation, including commissioning reports and as-built updates
Communicate job progress and site updates to management and JCI contractor/customer
Complete administrative tasks (time sheets, expenses, site records)
Ensure safety compliance and attend required safety training
What we look for: Advanced computer skills (Metasys preferred)
Advanced knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning tools
Strong documentation acumen
Good communication and listening skills
Advanced knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems
Low voltage/120-volt wiring skills preferred
A valid driver's license, with no major or frequent traffic violations
