Staff RN
The Staff RN is a professional caregiver responsible for providing direct patient care in the surgical setting, functioning as both a scrub and circulating nurse with minimal supervision. Key duties include ensuring proper care of surgical instruments, maintaining a safe and survey-ready environment, and participating in call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The RN utilizes the nursing process, demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills, and actively contributes to patient, staff, and student education. Adherence to departmental standards and participation in evidence-based practices are essential to ensuring high-quality, safe patient care. Required: Experience as a circulating and scrub nurse BSN or MSN Current California RN license BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association Ability to push, pull, lift, up to 35 lbs. Skills in setting priorities, organizing workload effectively and integrating multiple assignments with multilevel personnel. Ability to speak, write, and read English with excellent medical/surgical terminology. Preferred: ACLS, PALS Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire.
