HSHS is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to join our Outpatient Medical Oncology Clinic at Saint Nicholas Hospital. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in an oncology setting responsible for rooming and assessment of patients, preparing examination rooms, and coordination of care. New grads are encouraged to apply. Position Specifics: Specialty: Oncology Schedule: Part time, 32 hrs/wk (4 days weekly), no weekends Clinic Location: Green Bay, WI Compensation that aligns with your experience Education Qualifications: Completion of State Approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Training Program is required. Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required. Experience Qualifications: 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred. One year of clinical experience - Preferred Certifications, Licenses and Registrations: Licensed as Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Medical Assistant (MA) Certification/Registration required or must be obtained within 90 days of start date from one of the following credentialing organizations: Certified MA from American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Registered MA from American Medical Technologists (AMT) National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Certified Clinical MA (CCMA) from National Healthcare Association (NHA) Registered MA from American Allied Health (AAH) Nationally Registered CMA (NRCMA) from National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) or Medical Assistant Certification (MAC) from American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) Podiatric MA Certified (PMAC) from American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) from International Joint Commission on Allied Personnel in Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO) Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) is required within 60 days of hire.
