Schedule: Full Time Shift: Days Unit Highlights and the community youll be caring for: The Emergency and Regional Inpatient Float Pools offer employees the opportunity to experience different Emergency and Critical Care Units of multiple specialties while serving various communities in the Greater Orlando area. The role youll contribute: Responsible for managing the daily operations, staffing, and patient flow of assigned nursing units to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery. This position collaborates with patients, families, physicians, administration, and associates to provide high-quality care. Additionally, this role oversees the implementation of policies and procedures, compliance with healthcare standards, and resource management to maintain optimal patient outcomes. This position develops and monitors the clinical integrity of assigned programs, supports staff development, and fosters a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities for this role include strategic planning, operational management, financial oversight, and maintaining respectful relationships with all contacts. The value youll bring to the team: Human Resource Management Monitors performance of the staff and takes corrective action for improvement as appropriate. Financial Management Understands health care economics, public policy, and finance as it pertains to the delivery of patient care. Performance Improvement Demonstrates familiarity with the performance improvement model of the organization. Critical Thinking/Technology Utilizes critical thinking skills in the performance of their duties. Demonstrates and understanding of technology utilized in the organization. Leadership and Clinical Practice Knowledge Provides leadership for the effective and efficient operation of assigned unit. Assures clinical practice is of the highest quality. Communication and Relationship Building Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
